It is strange not to have vapour trails going across the sky and to not have the sound of aircraft. When they're there, you don't even realise that they make that much noise.
At the Ministry of Magic we have various people either stuck abroad or unable to leave to go on holiday. (The Ministry rarely sends people abroad for work related reasons.) The level of grumbling among those who've booked holidays is rising slowly – I was toying myself with going abroad for once, but my laziness seems to have been the wisest move. Or non-move, if you see what I mean.
Good news
The good news for me is that I'm having three days off – my birthday and the two following days. Go me!
Dragon Age: Origins
My character still hasn't beaten the archdemon.
I'm onto my third attempt: my first character didn't get past the middle of the game, being ambushed in a back alley by the unbeatable assassins.
My second couldn't beat the archdemon because of a significant lack of lyrium potions on the part of the party's wizard. He did sleep with Zevran, though, to my surprise. I hadn't realised that was possible.
The third has acquired a larger supply of healing stuff and lyrium, and we're getting close to the dénouement where we battle the archdemon and try to take it down. Yes. Well. We'll see. He did manage both the woman who turned into a dragon and the high dragon, and has dragon armour, giving Zevran drake armour and Alistair superior drake armour, so they should last longer than the usual nanosecond.
