He's a naughty boy - he stole about half of a lump of fudge, and I'm going to have to lock the fudge away. I knew cats like sweet things, but to steal fudge is a new one on me. It's upset his stomach, and he's been sick on my living room carpet four times. It took him a while, too, to learn where his litter tray is.
Fudge is bad for cats! no! I've never had a cat who tried to steal chocolate. There was a time when we owned 2 dogs, and they got into the pantry where there was a whole gift box of chocolates ... they didn't have to go to the vet, their bodies' natural defenses took care of it (from both ends), but we had wall-to-wall off-white carpet that was never really the same again ...
Same here with Missy. At least she doesn't have the tendency towards matting that Chewie had which meant digging out the baby nail scissors to cut them out (baby ones because sharp enough to cut fur but blunt enough not to cut skin and rounded ends to prevent accidental jabbing).
