Well we have some progress on the move – my solicitor seems to finally be getting some response from the seller’s solicitor. So yay, modified rapture because there are still some queries outstanding that they haven’t responded to. I’m supposed to be getting an email setting out the responses they’ve sent some time this week.

Looking at the dates, I’ll be very lucky to get in before Christmas – it takes about four weeks from the position where all the questions are answered and the contract comes through for signature. So it’s far more likely that I’ll be moving at the beginning of January. Which is annoying, I wanted to be in by Christmas. Still, progress is progress and let’s not be ungrateful for movement forward.

I have done 73 days on Duolingo, but don’t think that I could hold any kind of conversation in Welsh. Unless the other side is interested in peas or ships, as those are two words I have fair grasp of. Pys and llong in case you’re interested.

I throw this out to the multitude because I forgot to ask my creative writing teacher.

How do you pronounce the name Proserpine? Is it Pross-er-pin-ay or Proser-pine or Proz-er-pin-ay or what?

I've seen it written down. I know she's in a poem by Shelley (I think it's Shelley) but I've never heard it said.
