So far this week I have managed complete failure on several fronts:

I'm two cards short of my number required for Christmas cards. This is even including the fact that everyone for whom I have a firm email address gets an e-card. All my e-cards come from Jackie Lawson, which means they're a bit 'wet' in the pictures department, but it saves a few going out in card form.

I managed to forget to order any food for December 2nd, and had to order some in a hurry to arrive on the 4th. How did I do this? I have no idea.

I put a duvet cover in the washing machine, and forgot to turn it on. As you do, clearly.

I have been aware for a few days that there is (now was) a dead rat on my lawn. So unwilling am I to do battle with a dead rat that I waited for my cleaner to turn up for her to deal with it. She's braver than me.

There was something else that I've even forgotten that I've forgotten it.

So I'm not doing well on the coping with adult life front.

Adulting certainly doesn't get any easier!

I keep waiting for the Authorities to show up and rescind my Adulting license.

Adulting is running as fast as you can just to stay in place. :-(

Oh, dear.

My condolences; at my house it's feeling rather similar, between "forgot to purchase TP" and "misplaced the holiday stamps for the cards," plus discovering this morning that my buttermilk had gone off and I had to make a double batch of biscuits for the work potluck. Early-morning grocery-item runs are not my favourite thing... and I forgot to snag a pack of TP.
