I'm glad to see she's on the job! :-D My cat Sable has the same shiny black fur, and an outsize bossy personality. The other two are torties, one very ladylike, one very stupid but sweet.
Cats are particularly good at supervising when a person's attention is on a screen (or a book). We clearly need extra attention at those times. Sable is so shiny, too - when she's lying in the sun she has this silver sheen at some angles, and in others I can see the Burmese chocolate brown.
