I didn’t mention yesterday what happened with my satellite signal and the scaffolding outside my flat.
When the blokes finally turned up, they took one look at it and said they’d have to fix the satellite dish to the scaffolding. Very reluctantly, I let them do this and I’m still not sure that I did the right thing. But it was that or carry on with no satellite signal.
This means that when the scaffolding comes down, the scaffolders will have to put my satellite received back on the wall. I have a suspicion that they will not like this and it will end up hanging off the wall until I can get the bloke out to put it up, which will probably cost me yet more money.
Ho hum.
