"I mock with affection. In fact, this was superior drama performed by consummate professionals who made it believable by being 100 per cent committed to the material."

Once you get past the piss take bit, an interesting article. It seems the original Liberator model just sold on eBay for £33,000.

In other genre news, a first edition of the Hobbit just sold for £137,000.

As previously advertised, I went to see the Hobbit at the IMAX here in London yesterday with [personal profile] aella_irene and [livejournal.com profile] clare_nce.

The film was so good that I had trouble getting to sleep last night from replaying bits of it in my mind I was that caught up in it. ”Spoilers )

Just got back from seeing the Hobbit. Still stunned. Talk about it more tomorrow.

I find myself in possession of a (currently one) spare ticket to see The Hobbit Part 1 at the BFI Imax (that's the one in London, near Waterloo) at 17:50 on December 14th.

Does anyone want to come with me? First come etc.

ETA: Ticket has gone. My word that was fast!
