Opal has hit a new kitty milestone.

She’s now lactose intolerant, like most adult cats. Given milk, if you’re lucky she farts. And Opal’s farts could clear the Albert Hall.

If you’re unlucky she has either diarrhoea or vomits, or both. Both happened this week and I have given my unfortunate cleaner extra to remove the stains.

So, a new house rule; no more milk for Opal. If I spill milk it has to be cleaned up right away.

I never knew cats could be lactose intolerant, but it makes sense.
