I was convinced to take her by a group of people on Facebook who said it would be 'no problem' to acclimatise Smokey to her presence. So far, that has not been the case.
She came to me 'walking funny' and I had my vet do an x-ray on her back end when she was being spayed, and it turned out that she had a broken pelvis. She's been crated for a few weeks to allow the pelvis to heal, and is now running riot in my house. Smokey has taken to secreting herself in my bedroom, and chasing Opal out whenever she shows herself.
