Smokey lump

I have found a lump on Smokey’s chest, middle of the chest between her neck and where her front legs start.

I’m 95% sure it’s not just a lump of matted fur as I can feel it under her skin.

It’s growing at a medium pace. It’s definitely bigger than when I first found it.

It could be various things: a cyst, a lipoma or a tumour. Or something else I don’t know enough medical information to guess at. But I don’t like it.

I have an appointment with the vet on Thursday.

Oh no! I hope it's benign. My black cat Sable has had a lump on her tail for awhile now; the vet thinks it's a cyst.
