Update on Smokey

Smokey update: she ate a little food overnight, and did a pee, but no sign of any 💩.

She’s had a few treats this morning.

She doesn’t seem weak or anything like that, this morning she jumped up onto the dinner table from a standing start.

I am still very worried.

Being worried is quite reasonable, and of course you'll keep a good eye on her. But, a lively cat and a normal pee are really good signs.

Jumping and peeing sound good. You didn't mention it, I hope she's stopped being sick.
But, yes, worrying is inevitable.

You mentioned a special new diet; it's not low-residue, is it? That might explain it.

Yes, she's stopped being sick, but I will be interested to see what happens when she gets her new drug - which still hasn't arrived. That's supposed to increase her appetite.

I don't think the diet is low-residue. It's special gastro-intestinal food the vet prescribed. I'll ask her when I ring them tomorrow.
