Not good news

I have found what I think is a lump on Smokey’s neck. I’m going to double check when I can catch her and if it proves true and it’s not a mat of hair, I can then bring her basket up from downstairs so that I can ring the vet on Tuesday (Monday is a Bank Holiday) and take her in.

This, obviously, isn’t good news. Poor baby puss.

I picked most of it apart last night (I'm not popular with the cat) and while most of it was hair, there still seems a little lump underneath.

All over, it turned out to be just a very firm mat of fur. I've removed it. She didn't like me removing it, but we're all square.
