Update

Went out for breakfast with my friend gloria1, which was lovely as ever. It may be the last time I have breakfast with her while living here, but then again it may not. All depends on when I get a moving date, and may it be soon.

I will be writing to my solicitor again on Tuesday to ask what information we’re missing. It may be something we can get another way. I hope so.

Smokey is spark out on her radiator hammock. She loves that thing, it’s really cosy and warm for her. There were people setting off fireworks last night, but she ignored them. She’s not bothered by sudden loud noises, probably because she’s never been out and doesn’t associate them with danger.

That's a thought. I might get more out of her if I explain in person what the vendor said.

I hope the house stuff gets settled soon. It's difficult to make necessary plans when things are still so up in the air.
