I gather from my solicitor that the vendor's solicitor is having trouble with the original builders of the estate, from whom they want some information that my solicitor has asked for. As the estate is seven years old, the builders have probably lost interest. Or, given that it's Wales, the staff could be furloughed.
Can't be that, I have all that information. Meant nothing to me, might as well have been in French.
I think, though I can't be sure, that it's stuff around what management organisation there is around collecting payments for maintenance of shared areas, if indeed I have to pay that. Which I may not.
My solicitor seems good, if a tad excessively thorough. I could wish for someone more...inclined to cut corners. But I suppose what I have is better than the opposite, and I shouldn't whinge too much.

Do you know what the hold up is? My conveyancers were totally useless.
