Smokey from above

Smokey spent part of the afternoon sat behind my chair, waiting for me to stop work and pay attention to her. From time to time she trilled and chirped, just to remind me she was there.

So I took a couple of photos of her from above, of which this is one.

Now that's a very sleek, shiny-coat cat. I call this pose the "cat shaped like a paisley." It's probably some kind of kitty yoga.

She looks very at home. Wonderful!

Just before I took the photo she was completely curled up into a ball, asleep. Of course she woke up just as I snapped the pic.

She does this "cat shaped like a paisley" quite often. It must be comfy for her.

She really does look lovely, doesn't she? She's gaining in confidence from when I brought her home from the RSPCA, too.
