People in countries where it really snows will be laughing, but...it's snowing. In London.

Snow sucks. I loved it as a child, and obviously part of that excitement lingers, but really it's disruptive, cold and not much fun.

Bah! Humbug!

Ah, I went, "Snow? SNOW? No snow:(" this morning.

I miss my North-Midland's childhood.

You're a Midlander, too? I was brought up in that area where Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire meet. We didn't get many bad snow years, but when we got it, it was bad.

I'm a bit thrilled with it this morning, since I caught a glimpse of Foxy Loxy sauntering around and he looked magnificent in the snowy setting.

Problem is, the oooh-pretty-snow period only lasts for a short while, then its all just horrible dirty slush which lingers for days. Roll on fry up brekki on Sunday though!

Roll on Sunday! Looking at the weather forecast, I expect to be working from home until Friday - but at least I'm working.

Being from Oregon, I'd mock you like a mocking thing, 'cept it's too bloody cold here in the Land Of Pleasant Living where the sky is leaden gray without and it's gonna snow again and I wish I was in London buying roasted chestnuts from the guy in front of the British Museum--that's what should be done in the snow.

Oooh! Roast chestnuts! I wish I'd ordered some chestnuts from Tesco, but I think it's too late now. I only hope my Tesco order turns up - it's due tomorrow.

As we're expecting another five inches by the end of the day, I join you in saying a hearty "ew."

Looking out of the window here, it is falling heavily. Ick! Not to mention "Eeeek!"

I needed four times as much time to get nearly in time to the appointment with the dentist I made 2 weeks ago. Oh do I feel pleased with myself that I did get up 2 hours earlier in the middle of a weird intense dream and not cancel it...
A tram managed to jump out of it's tracks, I'm glad I wasn't in it...

Weird dreams are weird...

The tram out of it's tracks wasn't the dream - that happened for real... but as far as I know there wasn't serious harm for any of the passangers. Just a little havoc for public transport at the area.
