I went to town today to get my hair cut, and to have lunch with some friends. The friends turned up, which was good because when I went to the hairdresser it turned out that between my booking the appointment and today, they had gone out of business.
I made an appointment with a different hairdresser and discovered that the owner of the business died suddenly. So that was sadness – I’d just found a decent hairdresser and they disappear.
In other news
I am unpopular with the little and furry member of my household, having cut her food down a bit so that when she goes to the vet in a few weeks she will weigh less. Probably only a bit less.
