I went out, to a shop, and bought things. Yippee!
I went for breakfast at the oddly named Clio Lounge – excellent breakfast, with sublime smoked bacon. Great pot of tea.
Then I went to Marks and Spencers for food, since I knew I have a gift card which had been unused for well over a year. Bought some nice things to eat which will keep me going until Tesco deliver on Saturday.
So a good morning. Would have been better without the rain, but ho-hum.
The other mild irritation was that my contactless thingy on my debit card didn’t work on the bus. Or in the restaurant, so I’m currently on the phone to my bank to get it sorted out. Arriva buses prefer contactless, which I’m sure is more convenient for them.
Smokey did a sterling job of guarding the house. Which is lovely and clean thanks to the efforts of Mandy, my new cleaner.
So that’s me. How are you?

Bad news about the fire.
Good to have a new mattress topper. They are a great thing.

Also, the gyms will open tomorrow, and the public pool the day after tomorrow. I'll have to see that I can grab a ticket to the pool, they are limited.
In other news, it's still a bit fresh and windy at best, cold and shower-y at worst, and it changes between one and the other at least three times a day. This is not typical as far from the sea as this place is. Oh well, I don't like hot weather anyway.
If it stays halfway dry, I might have the opportunity to go out and eat something other than my own cooking or takeout. I'm looking forward to it very much.

Just got a new office chair, but the gas lift isn't going to the full height, so they're going to get a new gas lift for me as I'm having to type slightly uphill as a result.
Getting frustrated waiting from a reply from another player in an online rpg as most of my actions this turn hang on her reply. I'll get a chance to talk to her tomorrow via Discord as we board game together, but I'd far rather have been able to do all my interactions with other players that are awaiting the data from her....
The fate of the entire galaxy is at at stake...

I'm trying to find a decent table for my sewing machines, and being constantly outbid on eBay. The ones on FB Market place go in seconds. Tables seem to be what everyone wants.

I'm going to be re-starting to run Call of Cthulhu on 7 June.
Best of luck with the galaxy!

I have been to two 'new' indoor places recently which, I think, still brings to total to less than two hands worth. The new ones were the dentist and the Magistrates Court (in a support capacity). My, but I know how to live excitingly!

I think I have found a table on FB Marketplace, but my handyman has done his back in and won't be able to collect until next weekend. I just hope it's not too much in the way of the giver. Who lives in Llanberis, which is a little way from Bangor.

I think my indoor places are less than one hands worth - Café Nero, the Clio Lounge, M&S, the local shop attached to the garage. I hope to add the local members' social club to the list when its kitchens have finished their refurb. And I may need to go to Boots next week.
