That meme that’s being going around.
1. Are you an essential worker?
No, definitely not. I’m very fortunate to have a job and be able to work from home, but essential I am not.
2. How many drinks have you had since the quarantine started?
None. No, seriously. I don’t drink at the best of times and this isn’t the best of times, so I’m not going to take it up.
3. If you have kids... Are they driving you nuts?
I have a cat, and she’s not driving me nuts. She’s wonderful, non-demanding company.
4. What new hobby have you taken up during this?
None really. I’ve been doing some knitting, which I don’t normally do much of.
5. How many grocery runs have you done?
None. I am classified as ‘extremely vulnerable’ so I’m not supposed to leave my flat, and I haven’t. Getting groceries delivered continues to be a pest, but I have a delivery booked for the end of this week. After that, I’m going to have to find some other method of getting them.
6. What are you spending your stimulus check on?
Does not apply in my country.
7. Do you have any special occasions that you will miss during this quarantine?
I was planning to visit a friend in Sunderland at the end of May and have had to cancel that as I won’t be out of quarantine until the middle of June. We will see if my other two events happen later in the year – a wargaming event in Wales in August, and a slash convention in Maidstone (I think it’s Maidstone) at the beginning of September.
8. Are you keeping your housework done?
I am missing my cleaner who normally comes over weekly like someone has removed my arm. She is wonderful and my flat will be more than grubby by the time she’s able to come again.
9. What movie have you watched during this quarantine?
I watched the 1967 film “The Mummy’s Shroud” the other night. Great fun, like a Call of Cthulhu scenario turned into a film.
10. What are you streaming?
I watched a few episodes of Bones season 11 (or was it 13?) the other night.
11. Nine months from now is there any chance of you having a baby?
No chance in hell. I live alone.
12. What's your go-to quarantine meal?
Chicken in white sauce from a tin, and rice. Though I’m keeping most of those back for emergencies.
13. Is this whole situation making you paranoid?
Not paranoid. I’ve been paranoid and I know how that feels. I’m worried about the loss of civil liberties and concerned that we won’t get them back when all this is over.
14. Has your internet gone out on you during this time?
Fortunately not. I wouldn’t be able to work without it.
15. What month do you predict this all ends?
Define ‘ends’. I suspect that lockdown will be slowly removed, the number of cases will go up again, lockdown will be put back in place, and then we’ll do the same a few times until the number of cases stays down. I expect it not to be completely over until some time in 2021.
16. First thing you’re gonna do when you get off quarantine?
Go to Marks and Spencer for some of their foods that I’m really missing. Followed by arrange an in-person role-playing (probably Dungeons and Dragons) session.
17. Where do you wish you were right now?
I’m happy alone at home, so it’s not bothering me as much as it would someone who’s an extrovert.
18. What free-from-quarantine activity are you missing the most?
Dungeons and Dragons. It’s not quite the same over the net. It’ll do, but it’s not the same.
19. Have you run out of toilet paper and hand sanitizer?
I’m fine with the amount of both I currently have. Plus soap and water, which is better anyway.
20. Do you have enough food to last a month?
Probably three weeks’ worth. I’m expecting a delivery on Friday this week, then I’m going to have to find a method of getting shopping delivered.

I was just working myself up to creeping out and going secretly to M&S when I got my letter from the government telling me to 'stay in, you fool'. I was and am rather peeved.
I love Hotel Chocolat, too. Their rose and violet creams are to die for.
Oh, and I owe you an email, which I will go and write.
