I voted on the Hugos on Wednesday, in plenty of time for the deadline.

Fingers crossed for the people I voted for. I think I'll be in Wales when the results come out.

I didn't really feel I could vote on the Hugos, being completely unread, though if someone had slipped me a list of how-to-foil-the-other-lot I might have tried.

I am, however, very happy to have been able to vote for Helsinki.

I read the entries specially. I really resented reading some of the Puppies entries; that's time I will never get back.

I have such a tottering pile of books to read that I know there's no point starting out on a new list that have to be completed by a deadline, some of which I am reliably informed are dreadful.
