I'm posting this on behalf of the organiser. Please email her directly with any
questions: <mailto:rosemary.wild@virgin.net>, though if it's to ask if it's a good event, take it from me, it is.

CLOSET CON 2010 - a Kirk/Spock and multi-fandom slash convention
AUGUST 13th - AUGUST 15th
Leicester, UK
UPDATE
Closet Con's programme is taking shape. Among the topics for this year are: Would you read K/S if it didn't have any sex in it? How did you find it? What is your reading history - stayed with K/S for ever and ever or moved away. Why - for both? How do you like it - sex of course - slash of course - K/S of course or whatever - What makes your ovaries dance? If it's not Nimoy is it Spock? And more...
If you have any topics you'd like to thrash (sic) K/S or wider fandom please contact Rosemary.
As usual we have silly competitions. Try: The Bare Chest Game, Spot the Missing Scene ... (I've seen that before...or have I?)
We have talks including 'Pink Slash Flamingos ... or not?' Rosemary takes a last look at Denny and Alan, Kirk and Spock. The Flamingos get married but is it slash? Gloria presents 'The Lonely Goatherd - or can you be a fan without being 'in fandom'?
We have a mighty archive of Shatner/Nimoy - if there's anything you particularly want to see please let us know.
We are of course showing ST XI and in our second viewing room there will be showing of 'gay/lesbian themed' films and a 'box of delights' for late nighters.
The library will be open almost continuously in the peaceful sunny Music Room (does anyone play the piano?)
If there is anything you want to sell, please bring and sell throughout the con. We don't have sales tables but a donation to our charities would be most welcome!
The programme isn't finalised yet. So if there's anything you want to do, talk about or see, please let me know. Panel and talk volunteers welcome.
Maps and directions will be sent by email to people who have registered nearer the date.
To register please go to Village Press and click on CLOSET.
For any other questions please email Rosemary <mailto:rosemary.wild@virgin.net>
