Grump

To add insult to injury, my broadband connection has gone down, as has my telephone. Not-very-urgent enquiry on the part of my broadband provider has produced no solution, so I have an engineer coming to visit on Thursday in the hope of tracking down the fault.

My preference would be to see them before Thursday but it seems that they don't do evenings and I have meetings back to back at work meaning I can't take Wednesday off. I just hope I've some kind of service over Christmas because not having phone or broadband over a major holiday will not be fun. It already is no fun, and I feel surprisingly cut off from the world.
