I took Geraint to the vet for his blood test today. The vet told me that he was perfectly well behaved, which is astonishing given how he treated Carys a few weeks ago. He was fine, too, with barking dogs and other cats. It’s a mystery.

We should get the results end of next week.

It does sound horrible to say so, but it does seem as if there's something about Carys he doesn't like. I mean, he was pleasant enough to the woman who brought my suitcase; he let ME carry him upstairs on the stair lift. So it's something about how Carys smells or something. And he's deaf, so it's not that her voice annoys him (how could it?) or that he knows she does things with the vacuum cleaner noisybox. All in all, it's very weird.

I got the result of the blood test today. He does only have the testosterone expected in a neutered cat. So it's not that.

It continues to be a mystery.
