I'm not too bad.

I've been diagnosed with a new illness, it's called "chronic paroxysmal hemicrania" and they treat it by injecting something into the back of my head.

I ended up this afternoon dealing with a friend calling me from Malta and trying to explain how I can lose a lot of weight. He's one of those thin people who think losing weight is easy. It was really hard work dealing with him.

"Chronic paroxysmal hemicrania" appears to be medical speak for "yes, you have nasty headaches on one side of your head." Minimal googling suggests it can be prevented by a particular painkiller, so I hope the treatment works for you! Good luck! (Imagine Eroica materializing, stealing your headache, and handing you a rose.) Bodies are hard, but they're all we've got.

Also, you are allowed to ignore unhelpful advice, especially about your weight.

And, from what I've read, it's easier for men to lose weight.

Having looked that up, it sounds horribly painful.

Other people's medical conditions are always so easy to diagnose and treat...

If it was easy, you'd be as slim as I am.

Here's an article I found. It says in the short term men lose weight more quickly than women and there's a lot of reasons why. It says in the long term, things even out.
