Christmas and New Year went well, though aunty_marion and I both came down with colds. Mine is still hanging around.

High time your cold buggered off. I'm back to what passes for normal for me - only cough when I change position suddenly, out of breath when I walk more than 20 yards or so, but not actively wheezing. Today I went to the dentist to get that crown glued back in.

I still say you should apply for PIP on the basis of your asthma.

Can't. You can't apply for PIP if you're over pensionable age, which - as you know - I am. If you have PIP *before* you reach pensionable age, I think you get to keep it.

If you're over pension age, you apply for Attendance Allowance which has the same sort of rules. Worth a try, honestly.
