"I mock with affection. In fact, this was superior drama performed by consummate professionals who made it believable by being 100 per cent committed to the material."

Once you get past the piss take bit, an interesting article. It seems the original Liberator model just sold on eBay for £33,000.

In other genre news, a first edition of the Hobbit just sold for £137,000.

Reminds me, I never did build the model of the Liberator I got ... at some con? somewhere ... but now I'll see if I can even find it. Still the most beautiful spaceship!

Oh, my stars... Started looking at Big Finish B7 CDs and books... very tempting, very dangerous, not sure if I really want to download one/all/none, what if I get started and can't stop? I've had trouble watching the DVDs (yes, I have the complete set), because they are almost too bright and clear. Since I first saw B7 on tape, probably 3 copies down, I was used to a fuzzy, lightly blurred image that hid so much! (I still have a problem watching ST:TOS in color; I saw the original broadcast, on a B&W tv, and that's true ST to me.;-)) Have you any experience with the audio plays? any good ones?
