Tragedy!

Tragedy has struck - I'm not going to be able to make Redemption. I've come down with a cold, and attending a convention with a cold is no fun, plus travelling with a cold sucks like a sucky thing.

I'm heartbroken. Please cheer me up.

It really is, isn't it? But at least I've taken a decision not to spread it around.

Smokey just had a crisis of confidence because I wasn't in the same room - she meowed from the bedroom and I called out to her, and she ran in to the living room as if the hounds of hell were at her little furry heels. So, yes, she'll be happy I'm not going anywhere.

Oh no! I'm so sorry. You are wise to stay at home (being sick at a con is just depressing). Could you have your own Cold Con instead? Favourite fan vids and zines and your own bar? Also, visit a few fan forums etc in place of panels? Could people you know who are at the Con keep you updated via facebook or something so you don't feel so Left Out And Fed Up?
