I just fell down (tripped over a cable) and only just got up again. I'm shaking like a leaf.

I'm going to have a key safe outside my house so someone can get in and pick me up.

In other news, my knees are now killing me. And Smokey is hiding.

Ooooooops. I hope you recover your equanimity, in all senses. Falling is always scary, even if there's no real damage. (Also, check later to make sure the cable is where it belongs, not unplugged or gone animate and wandering about.)

I predict Smokey will unhide pretty quickly, especially when it's a mealtime.

It's a few hours later and I'm still shocked, but not in pain. I expect that tomorrow. Smokey has reappeared and has gone to sleep.
