This is probably a daft question, but what on Earth IS Pillowfort?

Pillowfort is a blogging platform, a cross between DW/LJ and Tumblr. I don't like Tumblr, but Pillowfort looks hopeful.

I joined Pillowfort some time ago but I never had the time to explore it. If you don't mind, once you've been using it for awhile, could you post here about what kind of experience you're having? I've tried tumblr - didn't like it - and Discord - found it hard to follow, and I'd love to find a new fannish space.

Welcome aboard! Quick tip: If you want your PF dash to be active, you have to actively seek out people to follow, usually through likes and comments on other people's posts. Communities are helpful, but honestly, communities aren't taking off on PF any better than they are on DW.
