Memories and computer

I'm listening to Blake's 7. I did some ripping of DVD's and I've put it on Plex.

I'd forgotten how good the first series was - remembering all the witty one-liners there were, how well put together the scripts were for the time. Just great.

In computer news, Microsoft techs spent another day on my computer today and it's almost fixed. Windows is working fine, my only remaining problem is that I can't send emails using Outlook, but I may decide to keep Turnpike as I like the way it works.

I also need one of my programs setting to this user, as to restore my computer M$ had to set me up as a new user and several of my programs are user-specific. None require further payment (so far) but keeping copies of the installation numbers has once again proved handy.

Mumble mumble years ago, I made cassette recordings of my favorite B7 episodes to play in the car when I had to drive for 5 hours every weekend for several months (it was a family thing). I loved being able to have that time, just me and their voices, telling a story, better than an audio book. I remember taunting my friends, "You know you can't do that with Pros! B7 is witty and entertaining and intelligent with just the soundtrack!" They agreed with me, but then Pros had other charms, I guess. I haven't rewatched B7, even tho I have the DVDs; I think I'd still rather listen to it.
