I was looking through my Photobucket account when I found this picture:

My Mum photo DSC00154.jpg

I have no idea when, where or why this photo was taken, but it is of my mother, probably at some stage in the 1960s or early 1970s apparently getting rid of a corpse. Guesses welcome.

So *that's* what happened to Elvis!

The big question is - did your mother kill Elvis or was she leading a double life and was, in fact, Elvis?

And a headless corpse, too! Scary!

If you look not too far down down into the collar, seems a monkey's head is in there with a little black spike of hair along the top and some teeth showing. Also, the rest of it looks like a scarecrow. That's one damn spiffy scarecrow if you ask me.

Yeah, I used Firefox's built-in magnification button to blow the picture up (though I can see what appears to be a monkey without magnifying) and...yeah. Your mom has this look on her face, though, like an angel. Can't imagine how that look could intersect with disposing of anything that was once alive. Not under most normal circumstances, anyway. :)

I was trying to read the tax disc (to pin down a date) and realised the photo is flipped.

My best guess is that there was a tragic accident at a scarecrow festival and its head is stuck in the radiator grill.
