'Member X' sounds like some of our readers/enquirers - if they get an answer they don't like from one archivist ('we have strict limits on serviced photocopying'/'that is research you will have to come in and do yourself or hire a researcher to undertake') they will badger others in the hope of getting the answer they want. Or indeed, to finally be told that the information they are looking for, which is not in the archives, is really there and they just have to ask a magic number of times for all to be revealed. Sigh.
